Mr. Hung Tang is the Founder and CEO of H & L Wholesale Food Corporation, established in 2001. He immigrated to the United States in 1985 in pursuit of the American Dream. In 1988, he began working in the warehouse of an Asian American wholesale company. During his time there, he steadily rose through the ranks, starting as a warehouse picker, advancing to a driver, and ultimately becoming the company’s top-grossing salesman for three consecutive years. Drawing on his experience and ambition, he founded H & L Wholesale Food Corporation in 2001.
Ms. Dang Minh-Phuong became a shareholder in H & L Wholesale Food Corporation in 2023. She is known for founding and leading Minh Phuong Logistics Corporation (MP Logistics) as its Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer since 1995 with a vision to become Vietnam’s most reputable privately held forwarding and Logistics Company. As a valued member of H & L’s board, she contributes her experience by building partnerships, broadening business relationships, as well as advising the company executive team on management, leadership, and business policy issues.
Shareholder, Managing Director
Mr. Johnson Tang is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he earned a dual degree in Business Management and Economics. Since joining H & L in 2013, he has advanced through various roles, starting as a warehouse packer before becoming a delivery driver, salesman, and business development specialist. Today, he serves as the Managing Director, having successfully established H & L’s customer and distribution network on the U.S. East Coast.
